Recently visited my mother who has Alzheimer’s and whom also tends to be little feisty. I very much appreciated the staff taking care of her. She appeared clean, well groomed, and was not pressured to do anything she did not wish to participate in. The staff was welcoming and provided activities such as music for the residents. It’s very difficult to grasp the toll that Alzheimer’s can take on a person, as well as the family. The only thing we can take comfort in, is knowing she is well taken care of and in a place that provides activities to keep her mind and body active. From the bottom of my heart, I thank the staff at Ivy Lodge for providing such care.
