I chose Ivy primarily because it was established and led by Dr. Joan Hyde, one of the most important pathfinders and leaders in elder and dementia care in the United States. Dr. Hyde stepped back from her day to day management role several months ago, but remains closely connected to Ivy. Ivy is an intimate facility and I have found the quality of professional care beyond anything I could have hoped for.
